So excited as a child when a neighbour would occasionally drop off purses and high heels she no longer wore for my sister and I to play with.  We traipsed up and down the block feeling like we were part of the grown-ass women's club.  The sound of the heels on the sidewalk and the click of the purses' clasps stay with me still.
